The Simone Vitale Band Performs for troops leaving for Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Simone Vitale Band felt very patriotic and emotional to have performed for the troops at
Selfridge ANG on Saturday, January 9, 2010. This was a going away party for about 400 Marines and their familes who will soon be deployed to Afghanistan and Irac. It was sponsored by
Nada & Sam Simon of The Atlas Oil Company. It is quite an experience to visit with so many brave men and women in our Armed Forces . Simone Vitale acted as MC for the event and everyone had a wonderful time. God Speed to these brave Marines who serve our country so proudly.
In response to Saturdays show we were honored to recieve the following email:

I just want to take an opportunity to thank you for the tremendous
party and the truly meaningful way that you have blessed all of our lives.
Saturday’s Event was once again a HUGE HOMERUN!!!!!!!
I am always encouraged and overwhelmed every time we get an
opportunity to share the same space on God’s property. I look forward with
anticipation to the next time.
